Health & Safety Services - Policy Design & Installation

This involves drafting of the Health & Safety Policy and determining how the client is to control all the basic health & safety issues.

The Policy document (manual) will contain three distinct sections:

1. The Statement: A basic statement of fact; i.e. what Health & Safety means to the client.
   
2. Responsibilities & Organisation: Who is responsible for what in terms of health & safety at the client business.
   
3. Arrangements: Procedures detailing how the client is to control health & safety issues. This section will also include a Safe Systems of Work manual with specific detail on the control of the client’s particular health & safety risks.

All the requirements of this policy will then need to be installed as working practice in the client business. This means working closely with managers and supervisors to aid the successful take up of new disciplines.
